Galatasaray triumphs at 2012/2013 season as they won the Final series against Banvit 4-1. Galatasaray added 76:58 win in Game 4 and became the Champions. The game was mostly controlled by Galatasaray. Banvit BK managed to win fourth quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Cenk Akyol (198-87) who scored 22 points. Puerto Rican point guard Carlos Arroyo (188-79, college: FIU, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points and 8 assists. The former international guard Serkan Erdogan (190-78) produced 11 points and 5 assists and Serbian center Vladimir Stimac (211-87, agency: Interperformances) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests.

Fenerbahce clinched the Turkish Cup title. They held off Galatasaray in the Final tonight. David Andersen (212-C-80) scored 21 points and grabbed 5 boards to pace the winners. He was named the MVP after the game.
It was never an easy affair for Fenerbahce. They surged ahead in the opening quarter and posted a 21:15 lead after ten minutes. But Galatasaray responded equally in the second quarter. They went on a 17:8 rally to secure a 32:29 halftime lead. The teams stayed close throughout the low-scoring third quarter. Galatasaray entered the fourth period up by three points 44:41. Fenerbahce caught up with their opponents in the fourth frame 48:48. Bojan Bogdanovic and Preledzic made it 61:57 for Fenerbahce late in regulation. Galatasaray could not convert and Fenerbahce sealed the winning outcome at the end. Oguz Savas (212-C-87) provided 14 points, while Bo McCalebb (178-PG-85, college: New Orleans) added 10 points for the winning side. Boniface Ndong (213-C-77) answered with 12 points and 6 boards for Galatasaray. Ersin Dagli (203-F/C-81, agency: Interperformances, college: Alabama) had 10 points in the loss.

Turkish Stars defeat Foreign Stars in All Star Game held in Istanbul. The local players were stronger than the more experienced players 118:115.
Turkish Stars started the game with 27-25, but the opponents replied with 30-29 in the second frame. The Foreign Stars won the third period 33-32 and tied the game after 30 minutes. The Turkish Stars however needed a 28-25 finish to seal the victory.
Semih Erden (211-F/C-86) top-scored for the inners with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Izzet Turkyilmaz (214-F/C-90) posted 16. Ermal Kurtoglu and Ersin Dagli (203-F/C-81, agency: Interperformances, college: Alabama) added 13 points each, while Ilkan Karaman (205-F-90) scored 12. Baris Ermis (194-G-85) and Sinan Guler followed them with 11 points each in a win. Sasha Vujacic (201-SG-84) replied with 20 points in the losing effort and Dusko Savanovic (204-PF-83, agency: Beo Basket) as well as Jordan Farmar (188-PG-86, college: UCLA) delivered 13 apiece. 28th Turkish President's Cup Winner: Besiktas - Sep 30, 2012

League, Turkish Cup and Eurochallenge Cup holder Besiktas Istanbul won the fourth title of the Turkish season by beating Anadolu Efes Istanbul 77-75 for the President's Cup at Istanbul Abdi Ipekci Sports Hall.
Tutku Acik (194-G-80) lead Besiktas Istanbul with 14 points, Patrick Christopher (196-G-88, college: California) had 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Curtis Jerrells (185-G-87, college: Baylor) added 10 points and 3 rebounds. Muratcan Guler (192-G-80, agency: 1x1 Sports) hellped them with 11 points and 5 rebounds.
