Real Madrid earned the Liga Endesa title. They surprised Regal FC Barcelona on the road tonight to complete the sweep of the championship series. The victory marked the second Liga Endesa title in three last editions of the championship for Real Madrid. Sergio Llull (191-SG-87) was named the Finals MVP. Regal FC Barcelona was trailing by 14 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 25-18 charge of Real Madrid, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. It was a great evening for American-Azerbaijani guard Jaycee Carroll (188-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
