Turkish Basketball League (TBL) was top-tier league in Turkey until 2015 when the new league (Basketbol Super Ligi) was created as top-tier league in Turkey. TBL was split into two leagues: TBL (become second-tier league) and TB2L (become third-tier league).
It was the last season when league was called TBL. From 2015/2016 season the name changed to BSL

Pinar Karsiyaka are the new TBL champions. They handed the fourth straight defeat to Anadolu Efes and clinched 4-1 victory in Finals. Colombian-Spanish power forward Juan Palacios (206-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and American guard D.J. Strawberry (196-85) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists. Five Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. Greek Stratos Perperoglou (203-84) responded with 18 points and French point guard Thomas Heurtel (189-89) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Top scorers:

Anadolu Efes conquer Turkish Cup as they beat Fenerbahce Ulker in front of 6000 spectators in the Sahinbey Sport Hall. Both teams posted 15 points each in the first period, while Anadolu Efes posted a 22-17 run in the second frame to take 5-point lead at the halftime. The opponents reduced the gap at the end of the third period when they replied with a 15-14 rally in the third quarter. Anadolu Efes however needed a final 19-13 push to seal the victory. Dario Saric (204-F-94) stepped up with 17 points for the winners and Nenad Krstic (212-C-83) notched 13. Thomas Heurtel (189-PG-89) followed them with 12 points in a win. Jan Vesely (213-F-90) answered with 13 points in a loss, whilst Richard Hickman (189-PG-85) brought in 12.
