Fenerbahce claimed BSL title. They breezed past Anadolu Efes in the sixth game of the championship series to clinch 4-2 victory. The game was mostly controlled by Fenerbahce Ulker. Anadolu Efes managed to win fourth quarter 27-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fenerbahce Ulker dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Anadolu Efes' 24 and made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Anadolu Efes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Nigerian power forward Ekpe Udoh (208-87, college: Baylor) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five Fenerbahce Ulker players scored in double figures. Luigi Datome (203-F-87) produced 20 points and was named the Finals MVP. At the other side the best for losing team was American Jon Diebler (198-88, college: Ohio St.) who recorded 18 points and international forward Cedi Osman (204-95) added 14 points respectively. Anadolu Efes' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Team Asia clinched victory in the Spor Toto 2016 All-Star Game. The spectacular event was held at the Ulker Sports Arena in Istanbul. Kenny Gabriel (209-PF-89, college: Auburn) scored 34 points and was trumped the MVP. Team Europe gained a 42:37 lead after the first period. They extended the margin in the second quarter. Team Europe enjoyed an 84:69 lead at the interval. Team Asia stepped on the gas in the third term. They spurred ahead to gain a 118:108 advantage. Team Asia maintained the lead throughout the final period and celebrated the win.
