ACB Finals, Game 3: Bizkaia Bilbao - Regal Barca 55-64 (0-3)

Regal Barca is the new ACB champion! They outplayed Bilbao tonight on the road 55-64 winning the Finals with perfect 3-0. Last time Barca was the champion two years ago (2008/09). This is not the first trophy for Barca this season as they already celebrated in 'Copa del Rey' and Spanish SuperCup.
The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime. Third quarter ended with 18-18, after what Barca exploded in the last ten minutes (8-16) for the final 55-64 victory. The best player for the winners was international guard Juan Carlos Navarro (192-80) who scored 16 points and 4 assists. He was named MVP of the Finals. Guard Victor Sada (192-84) chipped in 6 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Alex Mumbru (202-79) who recorded 14 points and 6 rebounds and Belgian forward Axel Hervelle (205-83) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively.
Regal Barca was the regular season champion in ACB with 27-7 record. They eliminated Unicaja in the Quarterfinals (2-0) and defending champion Caja Laboral in the Semis (3-0).

Regal Barca outplayed Real Madrid tonight defending the Copa del Rey trophy. Barca had only one player with double-digits in scoring and it was Alan Anderson (198-G/F-82, agency: Priority Sports, college: Michigan St.) with 19 points. Anderson was named MVP of the final tournament. Erazem Lorbek (209-F/C-84, college: Michigan St.) and Terence Morris (207-F-79, college: Maryland) helped Barca with 9 and 8 points respectively. It is important to mention that 11 Barca's players managed to score in this game. Ante Tomic (217-C-87) had 12 points and 7 rebounds on the other side, Pablo Prigioni (191-G-77) and Clay Tucker (195-G-80, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) netted 10 and 9 points respectively.
Regal Barca won the first period 17-19 and the Whites replied with 13-11 for the next ten minutes. Than after the breather Alan Anderson and his teammates improved and managed to take 5-point lead before the last quarter (43-48). Real Madrid tried to mount a comeback, but Regal Barca was able to deny all of their attempts. At the end, Barca finished last ten minutes with 17-20 for the final 60-68 victory and second consecutive Copa del Rey. Barca had 45% from behind the arc today making 9 of 20 attempts.

Regal F.C. Barcelona triumphs in SuperCup 2010 as the team won the Final game over Power Electronics Valencia. Euroleague Champions needed 83:63 to start the season with the trophy.
Jeremy Richardson (199-G/F-84, college: Delta St.) gave the first points for Valencia and Pete Mickeal (199-F-78, college: Cincinnati) made 2:2 in the opening tip. Boniface Ndong (213-C-77) later scored for 16:4, while Claver managed to reduced with his team to 26:21 after 10 minutes. Regal F.C. Barcelona opened the second period with 7-0 run as Gianluca Basile (192-G-75) brought 33:21. Boniface Ndong made 40:27 and Martinez closed the half at 40:29. Serhiy Lishchuk (210-C/F-82, agency: Beo Basket) was responsible for 44:31 and Claver reduced for 49:37. Rubio later increased to 59:39 with 2 minutes to play in the third frame. Regal F.C. Barcelona enjoyed 63:47 after three quarters in the game and then Boniface Ndong scored for 69:54. Cook was the last to score in the game to bring the final result on the board.
Juan Carlos Navarro (192-G-80) paced all the winners with 22 points and Pete Mickeal poured in 17. Boniface Ndong chipped in 13, while Gianluca Basile scored 12. Dusko Savanovic (204-F/C-83, agency: Beo Basket) ended up with 16 points in the losing effort. Serhiy Lishchuk brought 11, while Jeremy Richardson scored 10.
Juan Carlos Navarro was named MVP of the Supercup. Tomas Satoransky (196-G/F-91) was the best dunker to win the award in that section, while Sergii Gladyr (196-G/F-89) won three-point contest.
