Antibes wrote history on Sunday. They overcame Souffelweyersheim for the title in the first edition of ProB Leaders Cup. Willie Solomon (187-PG-78, agency: Interperformances, college: Clemson) nailed 14 points to lead the winners. Mamoutou Diarra (200-F-80) was named the MVP of the Final. The teams stayed neck and neck throughout the starting quarter. The scoreboard read 22:22 after ten minutes. Antibes held Souffelweyersheim to just 5 points in the second term to gain a 32:27 halftime lead. The teams stayed within striking distance in the third period. Antibes secured a 43:38 advantage heading into the fourth period. However Willie Solomon responded with four quick points and then added four more to steer Antibes to the victory.
