ProB Round 2 of Finals. Bourg gain ProA promotion - May 31, 2014

Poitiers - Bourg 65-73

Bourg handed the second straight defeat to Poitiers and clinched ProB title. They also gained ProA promotion with the victory. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-65. JL Bourg made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. JL Bourg outrebounded Poitiers 47-30 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Poitiers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Devin Booker (203-91, college: Clemson) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward John Flowers (200-89, college: W.Virginia, agency: KMG Sports Management) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. JL Bourg's coach Frederic Sarre used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-British power forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: Le Moyne) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and forward Pierre-Yves Guillard (201-84) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds.
