    Bayern Munich repeated as BBL champions. They swept ALBA Berlin in the championship series to defend the title. Bayern claimed an overtime victory in Game 3 to complete the sweep. Vladimir Lucic (201-SF-89, agency: BeoBasket) posted 23 points to pace the champions.
    ALBA got to a quick start. The Berlin team grabbed a 22:15 lead ten minutes into the game. ALBA maintained the lead throughout the second term. The visitors accumulated a 46:32 halftime lead. But Bayern turned things around in the second half. The hosts unloaded 25 points in the fourth period to force overtime. Bayern jumped to a 6-point lead in the extra period and raced to the victory. Nihad Djedovic (196-SF-90, agency: BeoBasket) posted 18 points, while Danilo Barthel (208-F/C-91, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points for the champions. Peyton Siva (183-PG-90, college: Louisville) answered with 21 points for ALBA.

    Brose edged Alba Berlin in a thrilling Cup Final in Bamberg. They posted an 83-82 win to seal the 2018/2019 trophy. Brose grabbed a 20-16 lead and had a 7-point advantage after two quarters. Moreover they posted another 19-17 rally in the third to enjoy a 9-point lead with 10 minutes to go. Alba was too far to give up and looked better in the last stanza. Rokas Rokas Giedraitis (201-SG-92) put Alba ahead 82-80 with 30 seconds left but Nikos Zisis nailed the game-winner from deep.
    Tyrese Rice (185-PG-87, college: Boston Coll.) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Nikolaos Zisis (197-PG-83, agency: Octagon Europe) nailed 19. Rokas Giedraitis netted game-high 23 points and Johannes Thiemann (206-PF-94, agency: BeoBasket) posted 17 points in defeat.

    Team National celebrated the victory in All Star Game as they edged Team International 151-148 in a fantastic event in Germany. Yorman Polas Bartolo (191-G/F-85) stepped up with 28 points for Team national, while Ismet Akpinar (193-G-95, agency: BeoBasket) was named MVP finishing the match with 22 points and 10 assists. Philipp Schwethelm (201-SF-89) notched 17 and Benjamin Lischka (204-F-89) poured in 15. De'Mon Brooks (202-F-92, college: Davidson) dropped 34 points in defeat and Ulm guard Javonte Green (196-F-93, college: Radford) nailed 29.
