Brose Baskets eked out a narrow 19:17 lead ten minutes into the game. They controlled the tempo throughout the second period. The hosts grabbed a 39:34 halftime advantage. Brose Baskets maintained the pressure throughout the third period. They arrived at the final intermission up by 8 points. Brose Baskets limited their opponents to just 9 points in the final term and rolled to the victory. Janis Strelnieks (191-PG-89) delivered 11 points, while Darius Miller contributed 10 points for the hosts. Brian Qvale (210-C-88, college: Montana) replied with 12 points for EWE Baskets. FC Bayern Munchen reduced to 7 after a 12-10 rally in the third period and cut it to 56-57 later in the fourth period. Brose Bamberg however managed to save the lead and grabbed the valuable victory.
