Khimky earned the EuroCup title. They handed the second straight defeat to Gran Canaria in the Finals to capture the trophy. The victory marked the second EuroCup title for Khimky in team's history. James Augustine (208-F-84, college: Illinois) posted 18 points to lead the hosts. Khimky did not give a single chance for the visitors. The Russian team unleashed 27 points in the first period to take a 9-point lead. They boosted the margin at 15-point mark at the interval 45:30. Khimky did not slow down after the big break. The hosts registered a 68:46 advantge heading into the final frame. Gran Canaria outscored the hosts in the fourth term but could not spoil the celebration for the hosts. Paul Davis (211-C-84, college: Michigan St.) finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Tyrese Rice (185-PG-87, college: Boston Coll.) added 16 points and 6 assists for the home team. Walter Tavares (220-C-92) responded with 17 points and 10 boards for Gran Canaria. Brad Newley (199-F/G-85, agency: Beo Basket) tossed in 12 points in the loss.
