    Real Madrid celebrated Liga Endesa title. They upset Baskonia for the second straight road win and captured the trophy with 3-1 win in the championship series. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-85. Real Madrid made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Rudy Fernandez (197-85) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 assists and Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91) who added 17 points and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side French guard Rodrigue Beaubois (185-88, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 19 points and Georgian Tornike Shengelia (206-91) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

    Real Madrid grabbed a 21-15 lead, but lost control of the game in the second frame. Barcelona posted a 25-13 surge and added a massive 27-18 spurt in the third quarter. Real Madrid was too far to give up and came back with enormous 38-25 surge in the end, but could not win the game.     Valencia earned the first official trophy of the season. They overcame Gran Canaria to clinch the SuperCopa Endesa title. Fernando San Emeterio (199-F/G-84) posted 18 points to lead the winners.
    The teams traded baskets throughout the opening frame. Valencia and Gran Canaria were tied at 13 after ten minutes. Gran Canaria surged ahead in the second term. The hosts built a 32:23 halftime lead. Valencia however drained 25 points in the third term and surged ahead for a 2-point lead. Valencia poured in 21 points in the fourth period and got away with the trophy. Bojan Dubljevic (205-C/F-91, agency: BeoBasket) delivered 16 points and 7 rebounds, while Erick Green (190-PG-91, college: Virginia Tech) contributed 13 points in the victory.     Iberostar Tenerife captured the Intercontinental Cup trophy. The Basketball League champions overcame FIBA Americas League winners Guaros de Lara for the title. Mike Tobey (213-C-94, college: Virginia) recorded 21 points and 9 boards to pace the Spanish team.
    Guaros de Lara snatched a 17:14 lead after ten minutes of action in La Laguna. The Venezuelan team maintained the lead throughout the second term. Guaros established a 39:36 halftime advantage. But Iberostar Tenerife took over in the second half. The Spanish side erased the deficit in the third term and eked out a 56:55 lead at the final break. Iberostar Tenerife added 20 points in the fourth period and ran away with the victory. Davin White (185-PG-81, college: CS Northridge) produced 14 points, while Nicolas Richotti (183-PG-86) added 11 points for the champions.
