LKKA-Atletas clinched NKL title. They outgunned Statyba in the championship game tonight. Vidmantas Sragauskis (200-F-86) stepped up with 27 points to lead the winners. LKKA-Atletas grabbed the lead just several minutes into the game and led from then on. They built a 22:17 lead after ten minutes. Statyba gained a narrow 23:22 lead early in the second quarter. However LKKA-Atletas quickly regained control and raced to a 43:36 halftime advantage. Tamosiunas and Vidmantas Sragauskis stretched the margin to 11 points early in the third frame. Statyba cut the deficit back to three points but LKKA-Atletas strongly finished the quarter restoring an 8-point advantage 63:55. The teams were divided by just three points with under four minutes remaining 68:71 however LKKA-Atletas did not give a chance for Statyba late in regulation. They opened a double-digit lead and marched to the victory at the end. Sarunas Vingelis (192-G-89) finished with 21 points, while Matas Sapiega (179-PG-90) accounted for 16 points and 12 assists in the victory. Ovidijus Varanauskas (187-G-91) answered with 19 points for Statyba. Mindaugas Budzinauskas (198-G-73) had 17 points and 8 rebounds in the loss.
