ASVEL celebrated the ProA title. They posted the third straight victory over Strasbourg in the championship series and conquered the trophy. It marked the first ProA title for ASVEL since 2009. Strasbourg IG trailed by 19 points after 3 quarters before a 29-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-80 at the end of the game. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: Long Beach St.) who scored 27 points. International Charles Kahudi (199-86, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Rodrigue Beaubois (185-88, agency: Comsport) produced 23 points and American guard Mardy Collins (198-84, college: Temple) added 21 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Strasbourg IG's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Le Mans earned the French Cup title. They rallied past ASVEL in the Final tonight. Chris Lofton (188-G-86, college: Tennessee) nailed 21 points for Le Mans and was named the MVP. Le Mans stormed into the game. They poured in 27 points in the first period and rallied to a 10-point lead. Charles Kahudi (199-SF-86, agency: Beo Basket) kept ASVEL in the game. He finished with 15 points in the first half and allowed ASVEL to trail by just 9 points at the interval 41:50. Le Mans however limited ASVEL to just 14 points in the third term and extended a 13-point lead at the final intermission. Le Mans sank 20 points in the fourth frame and marched to the win. Tywain McKee (188-PG-86, college: Coppin St.) finished with 16 points, while Mouphtaou Yarou (204-C/F-90, college: Villanova) added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Monaco clinched the Leaders Cup title. They overwhelmed Chalon at the Disney Evens Arena in Paris tonight. Jamal Shuler (191-SG-86) scored 31 points to lead the winners. Chalon unleashed 29 points in the first period to ensure a quick start. They grabbed an 8-point lead. But Monaco picked up the tempo in the second period. They answered with a 27-point tally of their own to cut the deficit at 4-point mark. Monaco went on a strong 28:15 run in the third term to spur ahead. Monaco held Chalon to just 7 points in the fourth quarter and marched to a comfortable victory. Aaron Cel (203-PF-87) chipped in 12 points, while Billy Ouattara (191-SG-92) had 13 points in the win. John Roberson (180-PG-88, college: Texas Tech) responded with 19 points for Chalon. Jeremy Hazell (191-G/F-86, college: Seton Hall) had 18 points in the loss.

French selection celebrated victory in the traditional ProA All-Star Game. Andrew Albicy (178-PG-90) scored 12 points, issued 21 assists and grabbed 9 rebounds to be named the MVP. The Imports team gained a 37:30 lead after the opening frame. France cut the distance at 5-point mark at the interval. France used a 43:26 run in the third quarter to spur ahead for a 108:96 lead. They unleashed 38 points in the fourth quarter and raced to the victory. Louis Labeyrie (209-C/F-92, agency: Comsport) topscored with 34 points for the winners. Nobel Boungou-Colo (202-F-88) added 22 points and 8 rebounds for France. Willie Solomon (187-PG-78, college: Clemson, agency: Interperformances) responded with 22 points for Imports. Mykal Riley (198-SF-85, college: Alabama) had 18 points in the defeat. Yakuba Ouattara clinched victory in the Slam Dunk Contest. He overcame Akil Mitchell in the Final.
